Mikaes Shea Butter is purely Organic, sustainably sourced from women co-operatives in Northern Ghana, West Africa.

In teams the Shea tree nuts are collected, dried out and the external tough shell is removed. The flesh within the shell is roasted and ground. The roasted ground butter is boiled, the ‘butter’ floats to the surface is collected, cooled and sold to improve the earning and livelihood of the co-operative women.
